Is sexual discrimination / harassment in schools legal?
Title IX prohibits sexual discrimination in any educational institution, program or activity receiving financial assistance from the federal government. To state a Title IX claim for hostile educational environment sexual harassment, a plaintiff must prove that:
- The harassment occurred because of plaintiff's sex;
