How important are notice measures?
Recently, a jurywas asked whether any of them thought an employee should be responsible for keeping information confidential when the employer had not expressed a desire to keep the information confidential. No juror raised a hand. All those with access to confidential information must be given notice as to what information is to remain confidential. A good use of notice measures involves frequent and clear instruction on confidentiality. Below are some manners in which to express the need for confidentiality.
