What can I do if I feel that I have been discriminated against because of my actual or perceived disability?
An employee or an applicant can file a claim with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) or the California Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA) to try to resolve the problem without the necessity of a lawsuit. Where the issue cannot be resolved by the EEOC or the FEHA, the EEOC or FEHA will issue you a "right to sue" letter allowing you to sue the employer.
